The Truth About Christianity!!!

("Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Mat 7:3-5)

For the most part this Scripture is not used in the proper context. People use it every time they are counseled for things they ought not be doing as Christians. They either throw this one in your face or use Judge not lest ye be judged. Thats why i continue to tell people to explain the Scripture not just copy and paste, so that all will understand how they are to be used.
One such example would be if i saw you were committing sins and claimed to be Christian and i call you on it. You cant use this scripture on me, if im in good standing with God. Now this is for those who keep calling saints sinners. Once you are saved you are free from sin as long as you abide by Gods Word Being saved is not a license to sin.
Where do you people come up with this stuff?
Jesus said here in
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.) Now does that say you are free to do anything you wish ? Also it says here
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.)So what laws did he change ?
(Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;)
Jesus said be as perfect as your Father in Heaven (Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.) Matthew 19:26 (King James Version)26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.) Repent and Sin No more !!!
Yes i use Scripture I live my life by it. But i use it as it was meant to be used. As God wants His Words to be carried out. And being a true Christian  is far from easy. Jesus said you shall be persecuted for His namesake
( Ezekiel 25:17. "The Path of the Righteous Man Is Beset on All Sides by Theinequities of the Selfish and the Tyranny of Evil Men.")Its not an easy path as you see here in Ezekiel(Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.) He said you would be HATED .
The devil is at my door 24/7 trying to drag me back to my old life. If its easy for you maybe you should rethink your Salvation.
Our Goal should be To be like Christ. Once you are truly saved then your desire is to be like Christ and you are washed clean of your sins. Why be cleansed of your sins then jump back in the mire with the rest of the pigs. How many times must Christ sacrifice for you?
2 Peter 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

  1. I think that's one benefit of fellowship-for brothers and sisters in Christ to hold eachother accountable and responsible for their actions. Those opposed to that seem to be against really growing in the body of Christ. It's my opinion that we should all be humble, accepting rebuke when it is appopriate, seeing it is an opportunity for learning and growth.
