The True Christian

What does it mean to be a true Christian?

Jesus said here in

John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Ye must be born again.”

And here in (Romans 3:23) He says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

So we start out as Sinners Jesus says we need to be Born Again.  Now what does Born Again mean to you? Does it mean being forgiving of your sins? Yes it does. Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. “For the wages [payment] of sin is death”(Romans 6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell. “ . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27)

Thats if you dont Repent and turn your life around.

But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. “ . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus had to shed His blood and die. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). “ . . . without shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]” (Hebrews 9:22).

So Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice by taking on the sins of the world so we might have a chance to have everlasting life.

Now what should we give in return? Well here in Romans it tells us what God wants of us. Here in

(Romans 12:1-2 KJV)
(1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, {which is} your reasonable service. (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what {is} that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

You notice it doesn't say He wants a sinner or anyone imperfect. God wants us to Follow the example that His son laid down for us to follow. And i cant recall Jesus saying it was ok to sin because we were imperfect but i do recall Him Saying This. Here in

"Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things are passed away; behold, new things have come." (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The old person has passed away and You have become a new Creature in Christ. Now you cant be both and you cant go back to being the old person because the old person is dead. Now if your still living the life you lived before you gave your life to Jesus then you never were saved to begin with. Like many you want the best of both worlds and heres what God says about that here in

(Revelation 3:2,15-16 KJV)
(2) Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. (15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou we cold or hot. (16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

He says if your lukewarm He would spue you from His mouth. What thats saying for the most part that you are no more than vomit in Gods eyes.

Before becoming Christians we were without Christ, God and hope (Ephesians 2:12,13; cf. vss 1-3). But now those who have obeyed the gospel are "in Christ". and therefore in a state of having received God's grace. The "old man" of sin has been discarded, crucified, and buried (Ephesians 4:22-24; Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:3,4; Colossians 2:12). In his place, a "new man" has risen. So you cant really say your saved if you continue to live your life as a sinner can you Jesus said be as perfect as your Father in heaven Ill show you the Scripture right here in

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Now i would ask you this Would Jesus lie to You about anything? No i dont believe He would. What did He mean by being Perfect.? Was it in the flesh now or when you went to heaven? Well if He meant when you went to heaven He most certainly knew that we would know from scripture that no imperfection could enter heaven so He must have been referring to the here and now. But He also said without God The father this was impossible for man to do of himself yet Here in

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

With God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!!!! Do you doubt the universal Creator of all things. Well if your not doing as Jesus ask of you then you not only doubt God but you are in direct disobedience to Jesus Christ.  What does it say here about obedience ?

(1 John 2:3-6 KJV)
(3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. (4) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (5) But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. (6) He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Now this was after Christ so dont tell me by the grace of Christ you can sin and still be saved. In the scripture above John just said you couldn't.

Repent for the hour of The Lord is upon us all and if your not doing as He wished then you my friend are walking on the edge of hell. A place of eternal torment.

Go to Him and give your life to Him Change before its to late. You see when He comes back to earth this time He will not be the man you once heard about He will be

GODS WRATH!!!!!!!!
